A Peek Into The Future

We just got a peek into the future and it’s not pretty.

President Trump invited Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi to the White House to discuss the President’s request for 5 billion dollars to build the wall on our Southern border.

President Trump also asked the press to sit in the meeting so their conversation was entirely transparent to the American people. How refreshing!

Frankly, I’m not quire sure why Nancy and Chuck were both 100% against any money to secure our border. After all, what we’re talking about is protecting the American people from cut-throat gang members, the huge quantities of drugs they bring into our country, and the 10’s of billions illegal immigrants cost American taxpayers each year.

And that doesn’t even begin to address the importance of stopping deadly terrorists, assorted criminals, and various other kinds of miscreants unchecked entry into America.

All President Trump is trying to do is protect the American people, our quality of life, and our financial resources from an invasion at our southern border. The Democratic leadership is just as adamant in NOT protecting the American people.

At least one amazing aspect of this whole debate is that for the past 10 years most of these same Democrats leaders claimed their support for stronger border protection. Schumer, Pelosi, Hillary, Obama and just about every other Democrat leader has said they support stringent enforcement, increased resources, and major fences (i.e. the wall.)

But now that Donald Trump actually wants to follow through on the same promises they’ve made for a decade, all those Democrats are suddenly against border security.

So our peek into the future is this: from now on, EVERYTHING is about politics — Democrats getting and keeping all political power.

If tomorrow Trump announced he’d become a fan of “Medicare for All,” I assure you Democrats would switch sides in a heartbeat and accuse the President of spending 30 trillion dollars that we don’t have.

None of this behavior by the Democrats is good for the American people. Nothing gets accomplished, American lives are not improved, infrastructure doesn’t get fixed, we become distracted by infighting while the world watches and wonders “what’s happened to America?”

I have no illusion that any of this is going to change. Democrats aren’t coming to their senses any time soon. I certainly won’t hold my breath that they’ll wake up and realize their job is to serve the American people. They simply don’t care that a big majority of Americans want a wall and want the influx of illegals to STOP!

So buckle your seat belts and let’s all work very hard to make sure the Democrats don’t put one of their own in the White House come 2020.
