ANTIFA and The NFL
September 04, 2018

I’ve written about this group before and sadly not much has changed. But to recap; ANTIFA are cowards who hide behind masks while committing aggressive violence against those with whom they disagree. They sneak up on their adversaries and throw rocks, swing bats, or sucker punch people from behind.
ANTIFA claims they target fascists, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists. But far more often they’re likely to attack patriotic Americans who disagree with what the left is doing to run our country off the rails. ANTIFA cowards have also been known to strike out at police, journalists and even wheel-chair-bound veterans. Can you imagine?
Not long ago, these cowards broke windows at a Marine Recruiting office in Berkeley CA. Of course, it was when no Marines were around. Need I repeat? Cowards.
They attacked two conservatives who were eating breakfast at a local restaurant, minding their own business. As the two left the restaurant they were confronted by 20 or so of these anti-American fools.
ANTIFA is nothing more than the violent arm of the anti-Trump / RESIST movement. When members of Congress call for harassment of conservatives, it is these cowards who move forward to steal our flags, strike from behind, then flee the scene.
It’s hard to believe that in America today, patriots are physically attacked for simply carrying the Stars and Stripes in public.
Like the fascists of earlier times, these crazies are committed to a socialist economy, and they justify any act of violence against those who disagree as necessary, even deserved. They’ll deny you free speech, demand you behave as they believe, and beat the hell out of you if you refuse to go along.
In short, these self-described anti-fascists are exactly like Hitler and Mussolini and exactly unlike the American, British, and French patriots who defeated those tyrants in the last century.
And then there is the silly protests of professional football players — not the same, but equally counter productive. The NFL has had months to resolve the players’ silly antics against our National Anthem. Rather than deal with the problem head-on, they chose to punt. As a result, we watched spoiled-brat millionaires taking a knee or raising a fist during pre-season games when the Anthem was played.
Contrast the infantile tantrums of these over-compensated snow-flakes with the black pastors who recently met with President Trump about exactly the same issues. The pastors left the meeting believing they’d made real progress. In fact, they praised Trump for his openness, empathy, and real determination to address their concerns. They also noted the real progress Trump’s policies have achieved in creating more jobs, hope, and opportunity for blacks in America.
Had the football players asked the President for a meeting, it’s very likely he would have addressed their concerns in a positive and meaningful way.
Instead, their self-defeating hysterics are far more likely to alienate Americans like myself who would rather spend another year on the bench than patronize these over-pampered ingrates.
