Are We As Stupid as Liberals Think We Are?

Liberals think we are stupid … really stupid.

In the past ten years, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and hundreds of other liberals all made statements in support of stronger border security and even a wall on our southern Border. Back when they were trying to get votes from “moderates,” they spoke with zero hesitation of the urgent need to keep illegals out of our country. They said illegals cost taxpayers too much. They said we couldn’t afford it. They cried we had to put Americans first.

But now that Donald Trump is president, they can’t move fast enough or yell loud enough about his efforts to stop illegal immigration. Just about every argument they make against stronger border security boils down to this: Trump hates Hispanics so if you are one you should vote the straight Democrat ticket. Really? What about when they were blathering about border security.

In fact, the only difference is that Trump has finally followed through on his promises.

What’s really happening is that Democrats see a chance to add Hispanics to their voting block even if they have to lie, cheat, and make Americans less secure to do so.

By the way, for those that say walls don’t work (can you say Juan Williams and others?) then why do we put walls up around prisons?

Trump is asking for 5 billion dollars toward the wall. With today’s budgets, 5 billion is chump change (wow, how times have changed.) But the two biggest spenders in Congress — Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer -- are making it sound like Trump wants to triple the federal deficit.

Here’s my question. Where the hell were they when Obama gave the terrorists in Iran $150 billion in cash? And why don’t they tell the truth about the $150 billion we spend each year on educating, housing, feeding, providing health care, and otherwise taking care of illegals?

Today, the same Democrats who complained so loudly about illegal immigration in the past (and often blamed it on Republicans,) now say border security is too tight, we should close border enforcement agencies, and allow just about anyone the right to cross our borders. What’s more, once they do so, we should give them whatever they want — everything they didn’t have in their home countries — and all at the expense of the American taxpayers.

By the way, the globalist United Nations agrees with Democrats. I wonder what they’d do if Americans started flooding Monaco, or Dubai, or any other wealthy nation demanding the same standard of living as their citizens.

Now I’m not trying to say that other politicians haven’t been guilty of a similar “double standard.” But let’s be honest and recognize the current crop of Democrat leadership in Congress have taken hypocrisy to a whole new level. They treat the American people like we are idiots and bumbling fools. I’d say that it’s only a matter of time before they’re exposed for their hypocrisy except the press is totally complicit in the cover up.

Shame on them! Americans aren’t as stupid as they think we are. Most of us see the highly insulting and cynical political game they’re playing. Speaking for myself, I’m beyond irritated that they would dare insult my intelligence with such lies.

Unfortunately the game doesn’t stop with insults. Democrats cause real injury when they sacrifice the safety of American families, negate fiscal responsibility, and squander our taxes solely to ruin Donald Trump’s re-election chances.

Their duplicity in claiming that Trump’s border security concerns is somehow anti-Hispanic is nothing more than an attempt to lock Hispanics into a political block that will use them and eventually leave them poorer. The Democrats care about only one thing: gaining and keeping political power. And they’ll say or do anything they think will deliver it. That’s exactly how they can make a 180 on border security in the span of a few short years, and act like it never happened.

Shame on you, Democrats. You have badly miscalculated the intelligence of the American people. I only regret we have 2 years to wait till the next election to prove it.
