Civility and Hillary
October 17, 2018

Last week Hillary appointed herself official Democrat apologist when she announced there could be no civility in our political dialogue until Democrats retook control of the federal government.
OK, I’m willing to admit I’m sometimes a little slow, but understanding Hillary-speak can be challenging even for the most language-adept among us.
Here is what I think she said.
Democrats are justified in treating Republicans badly now because they’re out of power, but when and if they regain power, they’ll treat us much better.
She seems to be saying that if the Republicans lose the House and/or Senate, she would understand if we used the same “mob rule” play book that serves Democrats today. If so, then she thinks it’s fine if we block roads, occupy public buildings, interrupt government hearings and just generally make ourselves a menace.
Really?
When she says Democrats can only return to civility when they’re in charge again mean that if they win next month, then suddenly, Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA will cease their violence? Is she saying Maxine Waters will stop her calls for “getting” President Trump and Vice President Pence? Is she suggesting the left will allow conservatives to peacefully demonstrate our patriotism without getting beat up, having our flags stolen and burned, or being spit on by the Democrat Socialists she reveres? Does she think Republican leaders will be able to dine and shop anywhere without being harassed by Democrat mobs?
Am I to believe that Hillary and the rest of the far left leadership of the Democrats will get on national TV and call for an end of the harassment of the opposition?
As usual, Hillary is either stupid and naive, or she’s intentionally lying to us. Given she’s repeatedly shown a complete lack of regard for truth, fair play or working together to move America forward, I’m betting it’s the latter.
Sadly, she’s not alone. The whole rogue’s gallery of the Democrat Socialist leadership in America — Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Eric Holder and even Barack Obama himself — are only a few among hundreds who have demonstrated by word and deed they have no interest in working together to address the issues facing Americans.
Instead, they are driven by a very narrow ideological agenda that requires them to destroy their opponents because they know we conservatives can never capitulate to their agenda of building a government in control of every aspect of our lives. Think Medicare-For-All.
And if hatred and malevolence against Republicans and conservatives is what will further that agenda, then it’s what they will do. And it won’t stop if they win the elections no matter how much they claim the only reason for their malice is because they are out of power.
It’s BS, and they take the American voters for fools when they suggest we will reward them for it at the ballot box.
