How Much Can We Take?

We all know what happened to Sarah Sanders. She was thrown out of a restaurant owned by liberals who didn’t want to serve anyone in the Trump Administration.

Pam Bondi, the Republican Attorney General of Florida (and a great American,) was forced to leave a movie theater in Florida by a gang of liberals because they don’t like her policies.

Kristen Nelson, head of Homeland Security, was harassed and heckled by a crowd in a Washington DC restaurant till she was forced to leave.

Stephen Miller, a White House senior adviser was also heckled by liberals in another DC restaurant.

Quite simply, the left has declared war on anyone who supports or works for Donald Trump.

Don’t believe me? Consider Maxine Waters’ comments at a recent, very poorly attended, rally. She called for liberals to disrupt, harass, and force out any member of the President’s Administration who enters a public place — a restaurant, a store, a mall, or a theater. Is this not inciting violence against the American people?

Maxine Waters isn’t alone. In fact, it’s a bit of irony that the same liberals who want the government to crack down on Christian owned bakeries and wedding photographers who star by their conviction, also think anyone associated with the Trump Administration should be harassed and ridiculed in public.

Where does this end?  With their hypocritical double standard on clear display, is it any wonder that some nut on the left went on a shooting spree against Republican members of Congress last year? What’s next? Gangs of liberals run rampant keying cars with GOP bumperstickers, beating up people who display the American flag on their lapels, attacking the homes of Republicans who write a letter to the editor?  

Look, if a left wing restaurant owner doesn’t want to serve a conservative, that’s their right. There are plenty of other restaurants who will take our money. But when one ideological group can heckle, harass, and even attack another group, then things are truly out of control. In law enforcement terms, it’s called assault, and it’s criminal. Even worse, it’s behavior that recalls the ugliest periods in human history, from Jim Crow in our own country to Naziism in Germany.  It’s behavior that simply has no place in this country and that no American should tolerate.

We know what causes it. Pure and simple it’s hate. The left, for reasons I still don’t get, have so much hate for Donald Trump they’re willing to burn everything down just so long as they’re standing on the ashes when the fire’s over.

They’re out of control. They’re not just irrational, they’re anti-rational. They have no desire to listen to anything the other side says. There is no chance for discussion, for compromise, for positive movement.

I’d describe their behavior as that of a tantrum by a 5 year old, but it’s so much worse, because the truth is that a 5 year old is more susceptible to reason.

These are the very same people who supported Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, each of whom endorsed the notion of separating children from families entering the U.S. illegally. Each of whom supported at one point or another mass deportation of illegals.

These are also the very same people who have fought the President every step of the way as he’s worked to lower taxes, create more jobs, reduce minority unemployment, bring North Korea to the bargaining table, and stand up to rogue states like Iran who are responsible for genocide against Christians in the Middle East and terrorism against Americans.

If Trump and his supporters think something is a good idea, their automatic knee-jerk reaction is to fight against it by any and all means possible. Hard to believe? Remember that both Pelosi and Schumer have notified their Democratic members that they NOT vote for anything that gives Trump a win in Congress — no bill, no confirmation, no resolution.

Think about that for a minute. It doesn’t matter if a judicial bench remains empty while innocents are being gunned down on the streets of Chicago, Democrats cannot vote to confirm a Trump judge. It doesn’t matter how much an economic proposal reduces unemployment in a minority section of town, Democrats must vote no. It doesn’t matter how much more money a reform puts in American pockets, or how much it reduces tension in the world, or how much safer it makes American troops, Democrats have already been told, DO NOT VOTE for it!

This is what we are up against. And very often we’re on our own because the lunatic left has 90% plus of the media on their side.

Just recently, one of the more popular anchors on CNN reported that Trump told Red Cross workers NOT to help kids at the border. It was prove a LIE. An absolutely blatant lie designed to denigrate Trump, rally the left, and move more Americans to their side.   

All I can say is, “take heart America.” Stand tall and don’t cower from the leftists who are willing to resort to any dishonesty, any corruption, in their rage against Trump. Instead, let’s resolve to fight back … not with the left’s tactics of lies, harassment, and ridicule; but with reason, truth, and decency.  

So long as we’re free, we have hope. But we don’t have time to waste. We must resolve to engage the fight now.
