Invaders
November 01, 2018

I have rarely been so perplexed.
The number of invaders heading to our Southern border is somewhere between 7,500 and 12,000 at this point.
The number of so-called “caravans” has expanded from 1 to 3. They appear to be converging and may already have done so.
The cost of moving this number of people from Honduras, Guatemala and/or El Salvador is in the millions (maybe 10’s of millions,) yet no one has explained where the money is coming from.
Likewise, I have not heard one member of the left, who champions this invasion, explain to America’s taxpayers why these invaders are entitled to free entry into the U.S.
I’m more than a little confused how people in any country could just wake up one morning and say, “I’m going to America today” — no passport, no paperwork, no job waiting, no plan for housing, and almost no money to pay even basic expenses.
But then why worry about expenses when liberals in America promise all your expenses will be covered by the American taxpayer?
Can anyone explain to me why this is different than my going to any of the wealthiest areas in our country, knocking on the door of a stranger and demanding they let me in, house me, feed me, educate my kids, and give me free health care? And if the homeowner rejects me, why can’t I just walk around back, break a window and force my way in?
Like every other nation on the planet, the United States is a sovereign nation with borders, laws, and established procedures for entry. We are NOT the EU which has seen their security compromised, their economies strained, and their societies disrupted by millions of immigrants who rather than adapt to the culture insist the culture adapt to them.
It’s outrageous!
We as Americans have every right to keep anyone and everyone out who has not been properly vetted and approved for entry onto our soil.
The invaders in the caravans have received no such vetting. No invitation has been extended to them. We have no idea how many among them are violent criminals, insurgents, or see Americans as little more than fat targets.
We have a responsibility to do what is necessary to keep these people out until they meet the same criteria every other LEGAL immigrant has had to meet. We did not ask them to travel thousands of miles to come here: it was 100% their own personal decisions to attempt to break the laws of the United States.
President Trump, our border enforcement agencies, and our military are justified in taking whatever action is required to protect our borders from invaders: armed or not!
So why doesn’t the left speak up for the safety and security of their fellow Americans? I believe they see the “caravans” as an opportunity to make President Trump look bad. Frankly, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if this invasion hasn’t been planned and funded by the likes of George Soros for exactly that reason.
If that’s so, then it is a shameful political stunt that seeks to exploit the migrants and jeopardize the safety and security of the American people.
But then, what can we expect from people who agitate to dismantle ICE, who advocate no borders, and who see every new immigrant as a sure vote for their political power grab?
