Oh, The Insanity

Jennifer Sinclair, the principal at Manchester Elementary School in Omaha, Nebraska announced last week that candy canes would be banned from the school because their “J” shape stands for Jesus. Oh the horror!

Comedian Kathy Griffin says Trump should go to prison for allowing border guards to use tear gas on caravan members who were storming our southern border — trying to cross the border ILLEGALLY!

She and a great many other celebrities are now raising tons of money for the caravaners who attacked U.S. and Mexican border officers. It probably never even occurred to them that the thousands of homeless vets in America could use some of that money. But alas, unlike the rabble who want to break into America illegally, all those vets ever did was protect America — and fight for the rights of the very same celebrities to raise money for those who want to break our laws.

To say the least, the left has lost touch with reality. Need more examples? Consider these.

Many Muslims in America are offended by our celebrating Christmas and now demand we stop. My suggestion is this: speak out against the terrorists who kill Christians, rape women and children, kill gays, and abuse women and refuse them their freedom. When you protest more adamantly against those atrocities than you do about Christmas, then you can celebrate Christmas with us, or get the hell out of America.

‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ is an old wintertime classic originally performed by Dean Martin that has also been covered by nearly all the greats over the last 8 decades.

But now, suddenly, for some idiotic reason it is offensive. And those that find it offensive are threatening radio stations to stop playing it. Don’t you politically correct idiots have anything better to do with your time?

Forget about the cold, baby, it’s downright crazy outside.

After the traditional thanksgiving TV airing of “Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer” this year, the liberal Huffington Post tweeted out a video claiming the show encourages bullying and verbal abuse. It criticizes Santa for “marginalizing” Rudolf and encouraging the other reindeer not to let him play in on the reindeer games. Sadly, I’m serious — that’s exactly what they said! Good Lord, get a life and do something constructive with it rather than try to ruin everything for everyone else.

I am quickly coming to the conclusion that the left’s denial of reality actually reflects a deep psychological disorder that has crossed officially into insanity.

Members of Congress are elected to make life better and safer for us. Raising taxes, for the sake of raising taxes, hardly meets that objective. But most Democrats now say that tax hikes are a priority for them.

And while they’re pushing for tax hikes that will damage the economy and make us all poorer, they refuse to build a wall that would reduce the number of bad people entering our country illegally, and cut the amount of dangerous drugs that are threatening our families.

But Nancy Pelosi advocates for higher taxes while calling the wall immoral!

WHAT? How can that be?

Last week our country appeared to come together over the death of Bush 41. That lasted about 15 minutes. It was a brief sign of unity that vanished even more quickly that it appeared.

Unfortunately, unity isn’t the only casualty in the left’s war against reality. Sanity has taken a bullet right between the eyes.
