Sticks and Stones

Imagine, if you will, a group that buys signs on New York City’s public trash cans featuring the image of a Trump supporter with the words “KEEP NYC TRASH FREE” and a thick red line through the Trump supporter’s image.

If this reminds you of Hillary’s calling Trump supporters “DEPLORABLES” it should. A few days ago, Hillary doubled down on her previous name calling when she announced it was impossible for Democrats to treat Republicans with civility until Democrats regained power.

Obama’s Attorney General, Erik Holder, raised the ante by telling supporters to “KICK EM.”

YIKES! Not satisfied with simple sticks and stones, the Democrats are moving to something worse. And the threats are becoming habitual among Democrat leaders.

Remember Maxine Waters telling supporters to ‘Harrass’ Trump’s backers and members of his administration wherever they can be found, and tell them they are not welcome?

Then there is the Hollywood crowd. Some have literally called for the President’s assassination, appeared on stage holding the severed head of President Trump, and used every foul word imaginable to describe the president.

Lately I’ve seen photos of lawn statues of President Trump with instructions inviting your dog pee on it.

To list all the inappropriate, hateful, and even violent activities the left uses to insult and intimidate Trump’s supporters would easily consume my entire weekend. Suffice to say their behavior is repulsive, insulting, un-American, uncivilized and simply wrong in any advanced society.

But rather than the shame they should rightfully feel, the left believes they are justified in their hypocrisy and bad behavior by their shared bitterness.

That bitterness convinces me the ugliness is NOT going away any time soon. Sadly!

One thing is certain though, if we have any chance at all to turn back the bullying, we need to be damn sure we do well in the upcoming mid term elections.

Losing the House and the Senate will only convince the Democrats that voters appreciate their bad behavior. In that event, you can be sure the left will do everything possible to stop Trump and Republicans from keeping any further promises. They’ll push for impeachment of the president … work to open our borders … raise our taxes … and reinstall tons of regulation. Eventually, those leftist policies will sink our economy to levels that would embarrass even Barak Obama.

Please America, make damn sure you vote next week, and PLEASE take like-minded friends or strangers to the polls so we end up with decisive victories across the country.

If we don’t, the left will most certainly believe they’re justified in moving beyond sticks and stones to something much worse.
