Sorry, but this is true: 62% of illegal immigrants use or will use welfare!

So if the number of 11,000,000 illegals is true (and this is probably low,) that means 6,930,000 NON-Americans live off the American tax payer.

A closer look at the numbers means that on average illegals are take $20,790,000,000 PER MONTH in American tax payer dollars. Put another way, they cost taxpayers $249 BILLION each year.

I don’t know about you, but I’m outraged. Almost a quarter of a TRILLION dollars a year is going to people who are in our country illegally. How in the world did we allow this to happen?

And here is another number that should make you crazy: 70% of illegal immigrants who have been in America for more than 10 years have been on welfare the entire time.

How many homeless American veterans could we house for 249 billion dollars per year? How much could we improve the education of American kids with that kind of money? How many jobs could be generated in an infrastructure project with that kind of money? The list of worthwhile projects goes on.

Think about this: 6000 people on our southern border are trying to get into America because they want a better life. If the numbers hold, their entry would cost American tax payers an additional $14 million every month or $168 million each year.

Where does that money come from? Increase our national debt so our grandkids have to pay? Raise taxes on the American people? Cut services to the American people?

Here’s a simple plan.

• First, seal our southern border.
• Second, pass a law that prohibits welfare for those in the country illegally. It’s crazy to reward those who sneak into our country with welfare benefits.
• Third, establish a worker’s permit program that allows those who actually want to work to come in.
• Finally, pass tough penalties against those American companies who hire illegal immigrants.

The American people can’t afford the cost of illegal immigration. Our politicians do a terrible disservice to us when they force us to pay it.
