The End of Decency

I often voice my political and personal opinions on Facebook (in addition to my regular blog posts.) Very rarely am I even close to being politically correct.

I believe in calling a spade a spade. Facebook doesn’t like that especially when I talk about the low life radical muslims that are hell bent on destroying Western Civilization.

Not long ago a video on Facebook showed a Muslim who had trapped a British female police officer in his arms. He was holding her up against a wall and was (please excuse the expression) dry humping the side of her body. He had a huge smile on his face while the female cop did absolutely nothing and another cop nearby likewise did nothing.

One got the very clear impression that the British Police were ordered not to cause any trouble with the Muslim population for fear the Muslims might riot and destroy the city; perhaps rampage across the entire country. Sadly for the police — and every British citizen — this is a real violation of their safety and the well being of the entire nation.

So on Facebook, I referred to this particular Muslim man as ‘scum,’ and within a minute, I was thrown off Facebook for 30 days (again). I guess they think this person who was violating, embarrassing, and clearly abusing a British police officer should be referred to as something more endearing than scum. Obviously Facebook is more interested in protecting the feelings of a Muslim abusing a female police officer than with the police officer. Look, this guy is scum. And rather than be protected, he should be arrested and tried for assault.

What’s happening here? We are increasingly living in a world that refuses to call bad behavior what it is. It’s a world in which we’re too fearful to criticize those who violate the norms of polite and law abiding society. Worse, it’s a world in which the only laws we enforce are on people we’re not afraid of. As a result, the wrong people are becoming a protected class in which the authorities are afraid to investigate, arrest or prosecute.   

In Britain they’re clearly well down this path already. They’ve already jailed Tommy Robinson, a reporter telling the story of terrible behavior by Muslims. Now, they’ve called for a blackout on other reporters talking about Robinson. To make things even worse, the British have thrown Robinson into a prison loaded with Muslims. It may well be a death sentence.

Back to Facebook, I asked a friend of mine to use the term ‘Christian scum’ to see if he gets thrown off of Facebook. I’ll bet dollars to donuts Facebook doesn’t even notice. I’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, we simply cannot allow any group of people to dictate to the rest of us what we can or cannot say, what we can or can’t think, or the bad behavior we can or can’t criticize.

And one last thing. The same laws, and the same U.S. Constitution, has to apply to everyone in our American society or it applies to no one. Sharia has NO place in our society. Politicians at any level who advocate implementation of the anti-constitutional Sharia code of laws anywhere in our country must be defeated and sent packing.

There can be only one result when we apply a different standard of decency and legal accountability to one group over everyone else. It won’t be long before they dictate what the rest of us can do and think. And the truth is that if we let it happen, we’ll deserve it.  

It’s up to us.
