So the economic policies of our President generated 313,000 jobs last month. In fact, Gross Domestic Product under Trump increased nearly 3% in his first year — a rate of economic growth Obama couldn’t match in any of his 8 years! Even better, middle income workers have seen their first real pay increase in 17 years! WOW! I can only imagine what the liberals will find to complain about next.
So our President has agreed to meet with Rocket Man in North Korea. Something no other president has agreed to do…EVER. For those on the left who were building bomb shelters in their backyard fretting that Trump preferred war to diplomacy, he again proved them wrong. Rather than press the button and destroy the world as the great warmonger the left claimed he was, Trump has shown instead he’s the great negotiator.
And for those who were convinced he was going to start a massive trade war over steel and aluminum, looks like it has proven instead a brilliant tactic to renegotiate NAFTA and other unfavorable trade deals.
Has any other president engaged in a serious conversation with kids and parents actually impacted by a mass shooting? None of the above is the correct answer.
Has any other president really tried to find a meaningful solution to these horrid mass shootings? The correct answer is again: none of the above.
Sadly, Trump will get little credit from our liberal friends or the mainstream media. Rather than meaningful solutions or positive direction, they offer only an ideology.
They know they can’t sell their hopes for bigger government, higher taxes, and more regulation so they resort to constant complaint. All we’ve gotten from the liberal Democrats is RESIST, IMPEACH, STOP.
Not one Democrat voted for the tax cut. Not one Democrat stood during the State of the Union when Trump talked about record LOW unemployment for blacks. Not one stood up when he called for efficient vetting to keep bad people out of our country, or for the courageous behavior by vets. Even if they’d wanted to respond, they’d been ordered by Nancy and Chuck they dare not do so.
I don’t know about you, but I think Donald Trump is doing a great job. Sure, we can quibble about some of the things he says or how he says them. But it’s hard for anyone who really cares about the problems regular Americans face to find fault with his results.
President Trump is in fact draining the swamp, not only of those working to further their own liberal agenda at the expense of every other American, but of policies designed over the last 8 years to seriously inhibit our freedom.
Is he perfect? Hell no, but he’s working his butt of to Make America Great Again. I for one am grateful.
