Where Democrats Are Headed

We have looked at where the Democratic Party has been and where it is today. Now let’s take a look in our crystal ball and see if we can figure out where it is headed.

Given the success of far-left Democrats like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders (who probably would have beaten Hillary if she hadn’t cheated,) the startling election success of avowed socialists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and the radical drift to the left of heretofore more moderate Democrats, it becomes easy to see the party’s future — at least in the near term.

Senators Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker have both called for the abolishment of ICE — the federal agency responsible for enforcing our immigration laws. While they aren’t the only Democrats to do so, they are the two Democrats mentioned most prominently for President in 2020.

It is important we understand what the abolishment of ICE means. OPEN BORDERS! Allow anyone and everyone in: child molesters, terrorists, foreign agents — literally anyone at all no matter their reasons.

But, let’s pretend for the moment that’s not what they mean. Let’s presume they just want the “good” people from around the world to enjoy all that America has to offer. How would they pay for it all? The “open border Democrats” never tell us how we pay to educate them, feed them, house them, and provide medical care? What about the jobs those new immigrants take away from Americans?

What the “open border Democrats” seem to be suggesting is that it is not only the benefits of America’s political and economic system people from other places in the world should enjoy, but also the taxes of America’s citizens that should be available to them.

Now these same people (including Barack Obama, the poster child for redistribution of wealth) says everyone in American should receive a basic income whether they choose to work or not, or even whether they care to look for work or not. And, then in the same sentence, they add insult to injury by suggesting such a scheme would make everyone “self employed.” Self employed? REALLY?

The New Democratic Party is all free all the time. Free school. Free health care. Free food. Free housing. Free cell phones. Free everything! Now they’re suggesting free money!

Again, who pays for it all? Their only answer is higher taxes on the rich.

The only problem is — and you know this as well as I do — eventually you run out of other people’s money, and the “free” stuff disappears. What won’t disappear is the sense of entitlement you’ve created among those who believe the “free” stuff really is free. Then they go riot to get back their free stuff that no one can afford anymore.

Unfortunately, the corruption of the New Democrats doesn’t stop at promising something “free” that isn’t; or taking from one group in order to attract another’s votes.

They also claim they support free speech so long as it’s their speech and not our’s. They claim we don’t deserve to speak because our speech isn’t politically correct.

The New Democratic Party thinks that sexually abusing young children kind of falls into the same category as being transgender and so there should be no rush to judgement. In other words, under the right conditions, child abuse is probably OK.

The New Democrats want to follow in the footsteps of Europe and open our doors to any and all Muslims.

The New Democratic Party says it is OK for NON citizens to vote in our elections. In fact, at least one has already called for the current Supreme Court vacancy be filled by an illegal immigrant. (Believe me, I wish I were making this stuff up)

The New Democratic Party wants to re-write American History by removing monuments, flags and anything else THEY find offensive even though all of those symbolize the struggles our country has gone through as we’ve worked to make a more perfect union.

The New Democratic Party thinks it’s OK for the homeless to live on our sidewalks and streets; even use public places as their bathrooms. (All hail San Francisco and Denver).

I could go on for pages; but you get the idea: there are NO good ideas from the New Democratic Party. They’ve redefined freedom to mean moral license and financial entitlement for some groups and less freedom, higher taxes, and more regulation for the rest of us.

Where’s the Democrat Party headed? If they get their way; it’s on it’s way to a dark, bankrupt, and over-regulated place you and I don’t want to go.
